Invitation -----------

Monday, November 13, 2023

Want to know what it's like to be a science student at Virginia Tech learning in an innovative and collaborative environment?

You’re Invited!

The Academy of Integrated Science (AIS) invites you to join us for Integrated Science Curriculum (ISC) Preview Day!

The Integrated Science Curriculum (ISC) is a 30-credit, two-year course sequence that covers the fundamentals of Chemistry, Physics, and Biology integrated with Calculus and Linear Algebra. ISC employs a collaborative, active-learning style environment emphasizing teamwork, skills acquisition, independent thought, and creativity. Modern science is becoming increasingly interdisciplinary and collaborative. If you enroll in ISC you will be introduced from day one to critical new ways of thinking about and conducting science.

ISC classes are smaller than your typical core courses and encourage interactivity, problem-solving, and group work. The ISC helps prepare students for a promising and satisfying future through STEM classes, academic clubs, and undergraduate research.

The event takes place on the Monday after Virginia Tech's November Open House Weekend. The two events (Open House and ISC Preview Day) are designed to work together, but feel free to select what works best for you!

Register Here for ISC Preview Day:
Monday, November 13th
